What is your refund policy?
For booklets, anytime within 30 days from date of shipping less shipping costs and the booklet must be in resalable condition. For internet courses, 30 days from date of order.

Is there a cost to retake a failed exam?
Internet courses are graded automatically online and retakes are free. For non-internet courses, there is no cost for the first retake. After that, it's $10.

What are the Standards of Professional Conduct?
The Standards of Professional Conduct is the CFP Board publication that includes the CFP Code of Ethics, Financial Planning Practice Standards and Disciplinary Rules and Procedures.

Does the CFP Code of Ethics meet any state insurance ethics requirement?
Formally, no. However, we have had CFPs submit their completion to their state insurance department for acceptance - some have succeeded. Try it, you have a 50% chance of getting the answer you want. Preferably, take an insurance ethics course from us if we have it for your state.

What is the turnaround time for grading tests?
Internet courses are graded online and automatically. Any tests faxed or mailed to us will be graded and the results sent back to you within one business day.

After I order, how long before I get my course?
Internet courses are provided an immediate link to the requested course. Mail orders are mailed the same day as ordered unless the mail has already run; otherwise, orders are mailed the next business day. We have no control over the speed of the U.S. Postal Service. If you are close to a deadline, you should either request Priority or Overnight mailing.

I've taken your course before. Can I take it again?
Yes, you can. There is no rule preventing you from repeating any course from a prior provider.

What is a passing grade?
70% for all courses with one exception. For the CFP Code of Ethics, the CFP Board requires 80%.

When do you report completions to the CFP Board?
We report weekly.

Can any excess hours be carried over to the next reporting cycle?
No.
