COURSE DESIGN & CONTENT

This course is for those insurance professionals needing to take the California mandated 8-hour tax-qualified long term care (LTC) insurance course designed to meet the requirements of California Insurance Code §10234.93(a)(4). 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This course covers the broad range of LTC topics mandated by statute such as: LTC providers and services, LTC costs and payment options, applicable LTC laws (federal and state), activities of daily living (ADLs), contractual provisions, consumer protection, etc. 

PREPARATION

No prior preparation or review is necessary for this course.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY

This course is designed as self-study.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Participants must pass the exam by the end of their next reporting cycle and requires a  minimum passing grade of 70%. Refunds are available within 30 days of ordering. For booklet orders, course materials must be returned in resalable condition; and, the original shipping and handling costs shall be deducted from the refund. COST

Booklet orders cost $44; $39 for repeat customers, plus $4.60 S&H. For multi-rep offices, the Buddy system can apply by using one set of materials and each additional rep is charged as a repeat customer. Make additional copies of the Answer Sheet as needed.
