4 Hour Annuities Training Course COURSE DESIGN & CONTENT This course is designed for those insurance professionals needing to take the California mandated annuities training for renewing agents. This is the second requirement as stated in Section 1749.8 of the California Insurance Code and is applicable to those agents selling annuities who have already met the initial 8 hour annuities training in a prior licensing term and are currently renewing their license. LEARNING OBJECTIVES This course covers a broad range of annuity topics such as the history of annuities, comparison of annuity types, contract provisions and features, sales practices, disclosures, replacements, etc. Successful completion will enhance one’s knowledge in the selling and servicing of annuity contracts as well as meeting the statutory requirement for such activity. PREPARATION No prior preparation or review is necessary for this course. INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY This course is designed as self-study. ADMINISTRATIVE Participants must pass the exam by the end of their next reporting cycle and requires a minimum passing grade of 70%. Refunds are available within 30 days of ordering.
