Qualified Annuities COURSE DESIGN & CONTENT Generally, all of our annuity courses have much overlap in their content. The purpose of this is to give one adequate exposure to most annuity topics without the necessity of making multiple purchases. Our annuity courses are comprehensive and cover one general and three specialized topics: Annuities, Equity Indexed Annuities, Variable Annuities and Tax Qualified Annuities. This is a specialized course on Tax Qualified Annuities. All of the other courses contain some of this course's specialized content. LEARNING OBJECTIVES This course covers all facets of tax deferred annuities, generally, and Tax Qualified Annuities, specifically. A working knowledge of annuities is not a requisite. Prior experience in selling annuities is a plus for understanding concepts. For those with prior experience, it will help build upon knowledge already learned and solidify the understanding of those concepts infrequently applied. Successful completion will enhance one’s ability to analyze and understand annuities and to present annuity solutions to the client. PREPARATION No prior preparation or review is necessary for this course. INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY This course is designed as self-study. ADMINISTRATIVE Participants must pass the exam by the end of their next reporting cycle and requires a minimum passing grade of 70%. Refunds are available within 30 days of ordering.
