and Commercial Auto Insurance COURSE DESIGN & CONTENT This course is designed for those insurance professionals wanting to either venture into auto insurance, enhance the skills as one already involved in auto insurance, or just to get familiar with the field's various topics. This course will carry the professional through all aspects of personal and commercial auto insurance and related topics. LEARNING OBJECTIVES This course covers the knowledge of topics related to the field of auto insurance. Prior knowledge and exposure to the field of auto insurance is not a prerequisite but will assist in comprehension of the topics discussed. For those with prior experience, it will help build upon prior learning and solidify the understanding of those topics infrequently applied. Topics include general aspects of auto insurance, policy provisions and options, commercial auto insurance basics, business auto, truck and motor carriers, garage coverage, endorsements, general liability, etc. Successful completion will enhance one’s understanding of the vast issues related to the auto insurance field as well as guiding others though the maze to meet their auto insurance needs. PREPARATION No prior preparation or review is necessary for this course. INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY This course is designed as self-study. ADMINISTRATIVE Participants must pass the exam by the end of their next reporting cycle and requires a minimum passing grade of 70%. Refunds are available within 30 days of ordering.
