Insurance and Its Applications COURSE DESIGN & CONTENT Life Insurance and Its Applications is designed for those insurance professionals needing training in the various aspects of life insurance, its pros and cons in various scenarios and relating topics of annuities and estate planning. This course will carry the professional through the general types of life insurance, comparisons, and how it fits in the retirement and estate planning process. It also delves into annuities and the complexities of retirement and estate planning. LEARNING OBJECTIVES This course covers the principles of life insurance and annuities and how they fit into the intricate complexities of the retirement and estate planning process. Prior knowledge and exposure to any of these fields is not a prerequisite but will assist in comprehension of the principles discussed. For those with prior experience, it will help build upon concepts already learned and solidify the understanding of those concepts infrequently applied. Successful completion will enhance one’s ability to provide professional counsel in meeting life insurance and annuity needs. PREPARATION No prior preparation or review is necessary for this course. INSTRUCTIONAL METHODOLOGY This course is designed as self-study. ADMINISTRATIVE Participants must pass the exam by the end of their next reporting cycle and requires a minimum passing grade of 70%. Refunds are available within 30 days of ordering.
